A3-50

the A2-50 works better on my guitar, the A3-50 is to stiff. I think this is because my guitar is a gibson Jackson browne, (roy smeck) model shorter scale length than a martin. An A3-45 might work if you made one.

The his pick isn’t to shabby. I own now a blue chip tone slab and this. I would rate this my second favorite pick. BC still is so effortless to play, I would say I like this pick better than tone slab it’s a happy medium. Brighter than the BC but barker than the darth tone. I would say this is a great alternative still a fun pick butmy blue chip tad glides faster and more effortlessly. Could improve grip.

Honestly, a very nice pick. I had been playing golden gate/or Dawg picks for about 30 years. Recently I have tried out a few newer ones. The Token feels really good. I got the A3-50, and if I had it to do over, I would get a smaller sized one. My current favorite are the prime tone 1.3, or the daddario Chris Thiele casein, or perhaps the one I use most, the Dr Herringbone casien/carbon hybrid. The A3-50 would be right at the top of the list if it were just a little smaller. I use the same type pick whether on Mandolin or Guitar.

I wanted to try the 50 thickness; I think I prefer the tone of the 55 overall; however, this is obviously a personal choice. The 50 does cut thru the strings a little faster on single note runs, but you lose a bit of the tone.
Both great to have in the collection! I'd be happy to purchase any of the Green picks again.

A3-50, the other pics I am used to would be traditional authentic material, BC, and primetone. This token pick is insane! It has a substantially more lightweight, but tacky feel so the pick itself doesn't feel like it slips around

The tone itself I am able to get from using it is brighter with more volume. I was wondering what could equal or BC except forauthentic material, and this might be it! I'm interested to see what the durability will be like overtime. Definitely worth it five stars!!!

Awesome picks! I love them so much. Great shape and bevel. My guitar sounds different when I’m using my Token. I get fuller sound and a bit more volume. I also like the colors. The Green and the tan! First time using a more premium pick, and I’m a big fan! Seems like they’ll be durable too used one at a jam last night!

Been playing for 15 years. My first time purchasing a premium pick. For a sure difference. Really enhances the tone and volume on my HD28 and J45. Seems to glide when hitting licks.

First off, the customer service was excellent and far superior to the other premium pick outfits I buy from. And Fast shipping which is important to me. I was surprised and impressed with how different this pick was . On the bright side and loud tone wise. I like that , as I’m playing a Collings MF 5 which responds well to this pick ! best of all for me as a beginner ( one year in ) , I don’t have a problem holding on to the pick , no matter how correct…. or not my grip is. I still struggle with this with my Blue Chips and Tone Slabs ( which are great and I do like them ! ) I’ve just has this one for several days now and will probably have better feedback in time . But I love it and have alot put in a second order to try a few of their other picks.

If you want a brighter/treble tone then the amber pick is for you. I’m getting great volume from the green on a Epiphone banner j-45 reissue that I love the tone of. If you’re looking for mids the tan is the one you want.
Great picks. Never thought a pick could make this much difference in tone.

For my high-end Gibson mandolin, this is much better than any BlueChip, though the Amber thin Token has a sharper attack. I prefer the 1mm Wegen to either Token, but only by a hair. For bluegrass guitar, I much prefer the yellow triangular StringJoy pick, which is louder and has a much sharper attack, like the difference between a punch and being knifed.

It’s a good pick, just don’t loose it! I do prefer it to my Dunlop Primetone, but it’s a subtle difference. I like the greenish A3-50 better than the opaque A1 - 50.

I used Keith Yoder’s pick when I was at music camp and loved it because it’s a nice large pick that’s easy to hold. As an aging player I have some hand weakness. Bonus: it creates a great sound on my Martin D 19. Worth the price.

Very loud and very fast playing pick

Large triangle (non-rounded w/ speed bevels), 0.050”: ample volume, very bright sounding pick, glides smoothly across the string - feels quite frictionless especially compared to Wegen bluegrass picks or Gravity gold 1.5mm, despite having an older set of phosphor bronzes on my HD-28 at the moment. It is a little slippery in the hand, doesn’t have nearly the grip as my BC TP 48.

B3-45, Medium triangle (same size as the BC TP 48, non-rounded w/ speed bevels), 0.045”: great volume, even brighter than the A3-50, very low friction as well - but the slippery feel of the torlon makes this smaller pick feel even less secure in my hand.

Both picks have a sort of clicky, chirpy sound on attack. Although they produce significantly more volume than the TP 48, the relatively warmer tone and better grip-feel in the hands keeps that pick as my solid #1 for now.

I really like this pick. I've been using it about a week, its brighter sounding then my two Blue Chip picks TP40 and TP48.

This pick is a game changer. The sound is very good, but that’s not where the magic is for me. The size of the pick, the texture from the material it’s made of and the beveled edge all result in virtually no pick slippage when I’m flat picking. This has always been my Achilles Heel for certain styles of playing, especially fast strumming. I look forward to trying other materials and sizes to see how they differ.

Sounds great and glides through the strings effortlessly. A little slick to hold onto, but if that is the tradeoff for the tone and playability of the material that’s ok!

Took it out for my first gig last night and had a great time. Felt solid and comfy with precise attack. Would possibly like a thicker size but certainly not too urgently at that price point
