B3-50

To my ear there is a noticeable bump in volume and clarity when striking electric guitar strings with this material.

It might not be enough to justify the price... but it's there.

The surface is too slick for me to hang onto when playing high bpm garage/punk with a lot of barre chords, so I have one that I've glued pieces of rubber band to each side and another that I've (very carefully) drilled a hole through. I don't imagine this being as much of an issue with other styles/approaches... so I'm not taking away a star for what is probably a personal technique issue (or pure old age, haha.)

I gave up on dunlop tortex .88 years ago as a pick would last me literally one practice before being too worn down - and I've been using Dunlop Primetone Akira Takasaki recently (with holes drilled through them, of course.) The triangle shape makes these essentially three picks in one, and wear has become a non-issue for me. I do love the Dunlop Primetone, but in my opinion the Token B3-50 does sound better.

Blown away, coming from a Blue Chip TP48 I got the B3-50 and couldn't believe the projection, tone, and upper end that comes out of my guitar. I am an electric player and this pick sounds so much better on electric than my BC did. Just ordered a couple more! got get one and give it a chance, it will smile back at you.

Excellent pick! I’ve been doing a boutique pick shootout, with offerings from BlueChip, Toneslabs, Honey, Red Bear, Picksmith, and of course Token (along with some genuine shell picks for reference). The B3-50 is perfect. Sounds great, excellent mids and crisp highs, very durable, feels great in the hand and against the string. I can’t recommend it enough, it’s been getting equal playtime to my favourites from other companies and shell. Great work!

As a big band guitarist, a heavier pick gives me the sound I need for solid rhythm but the 50 gives a little more snap for that Freddy Green chunk. This pick has great grip too. A little brighter than the 60. I'm sold!

Great sounding pick that glides beautifully off the strings

I really like the pick but the finish on mine was not polished smooth, and was rough. I do like it and like the tone and playability of it, just think quality is a bit lacking.

This is a great pick! It took a few days of playing to get used to it but it seems easier to get an even tone over other picks I have tried. This is especially true on upstrokes. The pick was a little slippery at first but that went away in a few days. Worth every penny!

Great triangular pick. I like that the size is a little smaller than other boutique picks and it makes my Gibson j185 guitar resonate beautifully. Highly recommend

This is a premium pick, allowing buttery transitions note to note, string to string.

The pick is great. I like it for the bright clean articulation, and very little pick click. I play mandolin with a Canadian friend and after giving him a Token B3-50 that I got at Wintergrass, he wanted another, so I "loaned" him second one. I think there is interest in Canada if the import fee wasn't prohibitive. Thanks.

Tone is good from both the B3-50, and B3-45, as is your system for selecting materials and type of pick.

The only down side is I like a pick the size of the BlueChip STP series. I would like to purchase more of your picks if you could provide the physical size of the BlueChip STP. Thanks for asking...

No need for tortoise shell picks…spending too much for a pick…endangering a species, etc. Get yourself a Token B3-50 (maybe a couple of them) and you got the brightness and clarity you deserve to have.

Favorite pick now! The angles and bevel works for me superbly.

Glides over the strings and gives a great sound to flat picker's and easy to hold on to. I give it a two thumbs up
