Great-- A little gritty.

I like the feel of the pick, and the tone is fair, but I find the finish, even on the bevels, has a satin feel. It causes audibly more pick noise that my current pick, a Blue chip TP1R-50. This satiny feel makes the grip secure, but requires noticeably more force and energy to move the pick across the string, and makes the tone just a bit edgy or raspy as a result. I have arthritis in my hands, and I noticed more pain and fatigue after 30-60 seconds of playing, and had to stop.

I have tried polishing the bevels with 400 grit sandpaper, and it did improve the tone and feel. I'm going to try some 800 or 1200 when I can either find it in my shop, or buy some more.

I also bought a C3-60, and it has the same issues. At least so far, I prefer the tone of the C3-60.

Excellents pics

Super versatile shape! I usually prefer a medioum rounded point, like the shoulder of this pick, but it also has a fuller point that is a nice balance between a traditional tear-drop and and a try-point. This #2 material is really balanced, and smooth. Great tone.

My new favorite pick!

I have tried this pick on my guitar and my mandolin. I haven't liked it as much on my guitar (Martin HD-28) because it seems to have a provide a slightly muddy tone. But it's good for chords on darker sounding songs.

On my mandolin it shines. I like how the pick provides a full, rounded tone that is noticeably louder than my Blue Chips or my Toneslab. It has a nice clean sound. It is not as slick (gliding off the strings) as I would like, hence the 4 stars. Overall, I am very impressed with this pick.

Smooth pick when I'm playing mandolin. For some reason it has made my mandolin play with s louder volume.

This is a very nice pick. I wish I could compare it to a Blue Chip, but I have not played with one of those. I have been going through picks and thought I'd try a Token. I don't how I could be any happier than what I am with this pick. It has a nice attack for solos and sounds nice and warm for chop chords. Try it. I think you'll like it!
