D3-60

Do yourself a favor and pick up a token pick! Ive got a D1-60, D2-60, D3-60 and a B1-48 from them and you absolutely cannot beat the top notch quality these picks provide. I was a longtime bluechip user and am no longer. These picks are really the holy grail.

Really impressed with this pick: great tone, great feel, and easy to use. It is expensive but very rewarding to use. The Token D3-60 has quickly become my favorite.

I use round-corner picks for both mandolin and guitar. I also like the feel of TS, but can't hack the moral aspects of using shell. The D3 is just what I like in a pick. I've used BlueChip TAD 3R and Wegen M100 and 150 and I like them both, but I picked up a couple of Tokens at Merlefest, D3-50 andD3-60. I love the feel, the stiffness, and the speed bevel. All-around great picks. I highly recommend them.

The tone and shape is good. I just can’t use it because of the size. I prefer a much smaller pick. I use a non beveled, 50, Kenny Smith Bluechip.

Color is different than the picture, but that is small potatoes, but the green material is fine. It seems a little too slick in my normal picking position making it want to turn more or twist while playing. It has a good tone and has been beautifully beveled making it easy to glide through the strings on double stops and tremolos. I just received it within the past 30 minutes and this is not the most important evaluation. In a month, will it be the pick I reach for when I pick up my mandolin, or will I pick up another? That is the time to ask for an evaluation!

Over all it is a very good pick the finish on the surface is a little more ruff than I was expecting. Causing a not as smooth or gliding sound and feel.
I have used Blue Chip in the past and was expecting something similar. The form, shape and bevel are excellent. But the scratchy sound I get from its use when used for Tremolo and other picking styles due to twisting the pick a bit differently than when regularly picking creates a non smooth or sliding/gliding feel and sound.

Absolutely love these picks. As a full time professional playing another brand for 40 plus years, I decided to give Token Picks a try.
Much more control, easier glide over the strings, able to play longer phrases with confidence. Very pleased and a new convert!

I got it because it has the exact shape and size of a Dunlop Primetone pick that I liked but which seems not to be made anymore. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Token's soft-textured material seems to glide off the strings, and how warm and mellow the sound is without the shrill bright sound that can come from picks that use more "glassy" material. I find this particular model seems to have just enough point on it to grab a string cleanly on alternate sides, while still being rounded enough for smooth tremolo. My new go-to pick!

Very happy with the Token D3-60 I recently purchased for use on my mandolin.
I'm always looking for a new pick to try and these didn't disappoint, I usually use a BlueChip TAD-3R 60 which is a great pick but the D3-60 is just as good if not better. I also bought a D1-60 which also which is also a mighty fine pick!

Great pick for playing mandolin. The D3-60 is sized very well and the material glides over the strings making tremolos much easier to play.

Like the shape - would like to try a thicker one if possible
