F4-35

I was a doubter. My mind has been altered. Token is the real deal. Increased accuracy, increased speed and clarity of execution, great feel. The stiff, yet lightest gage pick still feels like a Dunlop yellow in my fingers, but glides, pops and slides and executes in a much more defined way. A great surprise was the wide range of strumming and arpeggiated tones and overtones that appear as I move from way high near the bridge, to way down below the sound hole. Right above the soundhole, great dynamics, louder if I want, great soft tone as well. I suggest trying different thickness on all my guitars to see what else this new thang can do. I’m just a hobbyist guitar player for the last 56 years. I have tried hundreds of different picks, and recently have been looking for picks that don’t slip from my fingers. The F4-35 with a little bit of rosin is the answer for me for both acoustic and electric guitar. The pick glides between the strings with no hang up . The tone is even and consistent with no plastic twang. It works well both strumming and alternate picking. I bought one pick to try it out and ordered 3 more a week later. Expensive but worth it.

As someone who luckily has a stash of many tortoise picks from the ‘70’s I’ve used custom made picks for their durability in everyday use and to spare the originals for specialty uses in the studio. Tortoise is a fragile material that wears down easily.

That said I made my piece with the lack of the high frequency “ping” that tortoise gives and I went for grip and bevel considerations. My favorite custom made pick isn’t made to the thickness I prefer and this is why I tried the F4-35. I was pleasantly surprised at the remarkable similarity to my tortoise shell picks in tone and the flexibility that I prefer.
The construction is detailed and the material is easy to grip.
I’ll be using these picks from now on.

I really like my Token purchase. In addition, I had a few questions that were answered immediately. The total experience was excellent. I would purchase the F4-35 again without hesitation.

Great picks. I got the F4-35. Love the shape because its the size im used to. It brings the feel and tone qualtiy out of my palying. Well made also. Will buy again.

I use thin picks and play mostly rhythm guitar with some occasionally flat picking leads and fills. My go to picks are the red and orange Star Picks. I always wanted to try these Token picks but thought the smallest one would be too thick.
I went ahead and bought the F-35 the thinnest pick available from Token. I noticed the difference in tone and volume. The tone similar to a tortoise shell pick I have and the volume is definitely louder. I prefer it when it’s being used for flat picking. For strumming it is more aggressive sounding than I would prefer, but that’s just me. I like the thinnest picks for my own personal taste, but this is pretty close considering it’s a bit thicker.
I asked my guitar student who plays similarly to me and he said, he liked it. Although it’s much thicker than he’s used to, it still feels good and has decided to go ahead and get one too.
Personally I’d like to get a pick lick this but just a little bit thinner, perhaps a F-30 would be perfect for me if it was ever available.

Great for flat picking on an acoustic guitar

Great sound.

I like the thickness and the tone, but I wish that it were a little bit wider along the top. It's slightly narrower than a Fender 351 there.

So far so good! This is a little heavier than the medium that I normally use on acoustic, but I like it I can get more volume out of it, and the tone is very nice

I’ve been playing guitar for more than 60 years, but only recently started learning bluegrass alternate and cross picking techniques. I’ve tried several premium picks and found good playability but a duller sound. Bought the F4-35 a couple of weeks ago and was so happy with the feel and tone, I ordered two more that should arrive today. I like a crisper, brighter tone and this thinner pick offers that bright sound that I prefer without “pick click.” The custom beveling also provides improved playability over other standard picks I’ve used. Bought the extra picks so I can keep one in each case of my acoustic guitars.

I'm using the f4-35 with my electrics. Though this is on the thicker end for me, my single note picking has been excellent.

It's good: has good rigidity and give, very controllable. Really works well on those low string bass runs. It can smooth out flat pick lines. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth an investment.

This pick provides great tone and glides over the strings. It’s a little slick to hold; but that’s my problem as I have very dry hands. I would buy again and may try the F4-40 next time

These are excellent picks. The quality certainly exceeds my playing ability.

Comparable to a .88 Tortex, but more premium in feel and tone. It’s definitely worth the upgrade if you want the feel of a medium pick with the control and tone of a slightly thicker pick. The pick noise is minimal on these and is great for finger pickers looking to incorporate a pick, or blues players that need a vocal tone, while still having some flex for raking.

This pick does sound good after working with it s few days and one band rehearsal,if it was a little thinner you could play faster, put some white on the front of pick so you can find it if dropped at a gig, a little better price would help
